Victron Phoenix Smart Converter 

The Phoenix Smart converter is an efficient and reliable converter. Made on the basis of our proven Phoenix converter platform and has been tested in practice, this model is contained in a new, thinner, all-metal case. The models are available in 1600 VA, 2000 VA and 3000 VA for systems of 12, 24 or 48 V.

It is powerful enough to power most of the devices that can be plugged into your car, caravan or home. Its toroidal transformer offers a surge capacity for high power peaks, a frequency, stable voltage and a high quality sine wave.

The installation is much simpler than before thanks to the terminals that are now more accessible to the installer, which allows a much more professional finish. 

With its built-in Bluetooth feature, setting up your power converter is much simpler than it used to be. Through VictronConnect, set up alarms, alarm relays, voltage interruptions, output voltages, frequencies, eco mode and more.

Port of communication VE. Direct

The PORT VE. Direct can be connected to a computer (VE interface cable. Direct-USB required) to set up and monitor the same settings.

Recognised reliability

The complete bridge topology with a toroidal transformer has demonstrated its reliability for years.

Converters are protected from short circuits and overheating, whether in the event of an overload or high ambient temperature.

Strong start-up power

Needed to start loads such as power converters for LED bulbs, halogens or power tools.

Mode ECO

In ECO mode, the converter will switch on pause if the load drops below a predetermined value. Once on pause, the converter will light up for a short period of time every 2.5 seconds (adjustable).

If the load exceeds the pre-configured level, the converter will remain on.

On/off remotely

An ignition switch/remote shutdown or relay contact can be connected to a connector at two poles.
Otherwise, the H terminal (left) of the two-pole connector can be switched to the positive battery terminal; or the L terminal (right) of the two-pole connector can be switched to the negative battery terminal (or the chassis of a vehicle for example.)

To transfer the load to another CA source: the automatic transfer switch

For our low-power converters, we recommend using our Filax automatic transfer switch. The Filax has a very fast transfer time (less than 20 milliseconds) so that computers and other electronic equipment can continue to operate without interruption. Alternatively, please use a MultiPlus with a built-in transfer switch.
