The RS Smart Solar converter combines the power of a 48 VDC, 6 kVA-230 VAC converter with the high voltage of a 4 kW and 80-450 VDC MPPT solar charger. Thanks to its modern design and high frequency technology, the converter weighs only 11 kg, and it offers excellent efficiency, low idle power and very quiet operation.
The converter is equipped with a display displaying the parameters of the battery, converter and solar charger. These settings can also be transmitted for playback via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app. In addition, the converter has a VE port. Can to connect a GX device to monitor the system, as well as a VE port. Direct to connect a GlobalLink 520.
Off-grid solar converter
The RS Smart 48/6000 solar converter is a 48 V and 6 kVA converter equipped with a 450 VDC PV input and
4 kWp. It is used in off-grid solar applications requiring AC power.
Combination of converter, bidirectional DC-DC converter and MPPT
The converter produces a perfect sine wave capable of powering household appliances that consume high power. It is powered by a bidirectional DC-DC converter that can either recharge the battery when excess solar power is available or convert it from the battery when needed.
Wide voltage range of MPPT
80 – 450 VDC, with a PV starting voltage of 120 VDC.
Lightweight, efficient and quiet
Thanks to high-frequency technology and a new design, this powerful converter weighs only 11 kg. In addition, it has excellent efficiency, power absorbed at low rest and very quiet operation.
Screen and Bluetooth
The display displays the settings of the solar charge controller, battery and converter. The same settings can be accessed from a smartphone or device with Bluetooth enabled. In addition, the Bluetooth function can be used to configure the system and change settings using VictronConnect.

Connect to a GX device for system monitoring, data logging, and remote firmware updates.
Integrated PV isolator
The two parallel PV lines connected to the MC4 connectors can be safely isolated with the integrated switch on top of the unit.
I/O connections
Connections for programmable relay, temperature probe, auxiliary digital input, and voltage probe. Remote input is compatible with Victron's smallBMS as well as other types of BMS with an "Authorization-to-charge" signal.
