Once the bottom charge is satisfied, the SolaX X3 Retro Fit Smart Charger will direct the excess energy to your battery for later use. This allows you to make the best use of the energy produced. If your home experiences a power outage, the X3 Retro Fit sends the stored energy back home, so you can never stay in the dark, even in the event of a power outage.
